Shulker Challenge

A survival challenge where staying still is forbidden! This datapack forces you to adopt a 100% nomadic lifestyle by compelling you to continuously explore the world.

How it works

Right when you spawn, you receive 5 Shulker Boxes of different colors. These are your only chests for the entire adventure! Store your resources inside, because you will have to carry them everywhere.

The Timer

An invisible 5-day Minecraft timer (120,000 ticks) starts.

• A chat message appears when only 1 day remains.
• A large title flashes on your screen when 10 seconds are left.

The Penalties

If the timer hits 0:

• A red warning message is displayed.
• You receive Hunger III and Slowness II effects.
• These penalties stay active until you move to a new area.

How to reset the effects?

To stop the penalties and reset the timer back to 5 days, you must relocate. As soon as you travel more than 150 blocks away from your campsite, the system validates your exploration, displays a green message, and resets the clock!
