Easier Mob Heads

Vanilla mechanic of obtaining Mob Heads using Charged Creepers is great for a challenging collectible trophy, but for general gameplay it is certainly too much.

This datapack attempts to fix it by giving you a chance to get a Mob Head by killing a mob using a Silk Touch enchanted Axe.

The base drop chance is 10%, chance is increased by 20% from Sharpness I, Furthermore, chance is increased by 5% for each Sharpness level, up to a total 50% drop chance at Sharpness V.

This datapack only affects vanilla mobs and has no integration with Vanilla Tweaks's "More mob heads".

This datapack does not affect Wither Skeletons, as their skulls already drop without charged creepers. For that you can try my other datapacks specifically for wither skeleton skulls:
