The world generates beneath your feet.

You will spawn on a single column of terrain; as you walk, you will generate just enough terrain to keep from falling into the void. Mobs will spawn floating in mid-air and remain stationary until you step onto the block they are occupying.

Tips:

• Avoid walking right up against adjacent blocks, as you could suffocate for a few seconds when the next column generates.
• When entering the Nether or the End, generate the initial blocks while crouching to get a sense of your surroundings.
• In the rare event that world generation takes longer than 2 minutes or fails, try creating a new world.
