Details
Enchantcraft is a vanilla-friendly data pack for Minecraft: Java Edition 26.1 and later that gives amethyst and lightning rods more uses and introduces new ways to manipulate enchantments. It allows players to disenchant items, split enchanted books, charge magical wands, and reset an item's prior work penalty—even when the item would normally be too expensive to modify in an anvil.
To report a bug, go to the Issues tab and click New issue. Make sure to include:
- The Enchantcraft version
- The Minecraft version
- Whether any other data packs, resource packs, or mods were installed
- Steps that reliably reproduce the problem
- Relevant screenshots, videos, or command output
Features
- Disenchanting — Transfers all applicable enchantments from an item onto an enchanted book while preserving its prior work penalty.
- Charging — Uses nearby lightning to turn a Fragile Wand into a Charged Wand.
- Splitting — Separates every enchantment on an enchanted book into individual enchanted books.
- Brimming — Consumes experience levels to reset an item's prior work penalty to 0.
- Magic Book — A highly enchantable book used for advanced enchanting.
- Fragile and Charged Wands — Amethyst-based magical tools used to perform Enchantcraft's advanced enchanting operations.
- Brimfully Enchanted — A treasure enchantment that repairs amethyst-based wands in a manner similar to Mending.
