# Overview As of now, Enchantica introduces 33+ Enchantments, mainly focused on adding more features to equipment & tools whose enchantments are a bit lackluster (But not limited to them), with more to come in the following updates! Additionally, Enchantica allows enchanting items which weren't enchantable previously, like the Elytra, shield, and flint and steel. It also extends the set of items which accept certain enchantments, for example, shields will now accept thorns. # Enchantment list Below is the format that'll be used to describe each enchantment:

Format

### Effect Describes the effect this enchantment has. ### Max level The maximum obtainable level in survival without using commands. ### Acquisition All possible ways to obtain this enchantment. ### Primary items The set of items which can attain this enchantment through an enchanting table. Absence of any items means this is a treasure enchantment. Primary items are also considered secondary items, and won't be repeated in the secondary items section. _* Treasure enchantments are ones which cannot be obtained through an enchanting table, like mending and curse of binding_ ### Secondary items Items which can accept this enchantment by means of an anvil. ### Incompatibility List of enchantments which are incompatible with this one, in other words you cannot have this enchantment on an item with any of the enchantments in this list present.

## Melee weapon enchantments

Robustness

### Effect Increases the output of your critical hits by 2.5 hearts for base level, increasing by 1 heart for every level above. ### Max level Robustness V ### Acquisition Through enchanting for primary items, in a book form, on items in dungeons, or carried randomly by mobs. ### Primary items Swords ### Secondary items Axes ### Incompatibility Robustness is incompatible with: **Sharpness**

Blighting

### Effect Inflicts the wither I effect on the victim with a base duration of 4 seconds, increases by 4 seconds per level ### Max level Blighting II ### Acquisition This enchantment is exclusive to nether fortresses loot chests. It cannot be obtained elsewhere in survival ### Primary items No primary items ### Secondary items Swords ### Incompatibility No incompatibilities

Sagacity

### Effect Increases the amount of experience dropped by a mob upon being killed by 20% for base level, 15% extra per level. ### Max level Sagacity V ### Acquisition This enchantment can be obtained through an enchanting table, found held naturally by mobs, in typical dungeon chests, and on random enchanted items. ### Primary items Swords ### Secondary items No secondary items ### Incompatibility Sagacity is incompatible with: **Looting**

Soar Rend

### Effect Increases the base attack damage output depending on your flight speed with an elytra, an exact formula to calculate your damage output per block is hard to obtain, as this enchantment uses a look up table to determine that to keep performance sustained. But an approximate formula is the following: **Base output damage = Weapon's base damage + Level * (0.1112 Speed - 0.0039)** Where speed is measured in blocks/second The maximum value the enchantment could reach is (4.8 * Level) Additional damage. ### Max level Soar Rend II ### Acquisition Through an enchanting table, and although rare, held randomly by mobs and in chests. ### Primary items Swords ### Secondary items No secondary items ### Incompatibility No incompatibilities

Flurry

### Effect Increases the attack speed by a value of 0.1 for base level, increasing by 0.05 per each level above. ### Max level Flurry IV ### Acquisition Can be obtained through an enchanting table for items which are enchantable, or found in a book format in loot chests. ### Primary items Mace ### Secondary items Axes ### Incompatibility As of now there are no incompatibilities, but it is very likely that this will change soon when I add more mace enchantments.

## Ranged weapons enchantments

Converged shot

### Effect Increases the amount of projectiles shot by 1 extra projectile for the base level, which also increases by 1 for every level above. Projectiles are shot in a converged trajectory and are really close to each other, but they will eventually diverge if the target is far enough, similar to Multishot. ### Max level Converged Shot II ### Acquisition Enchanting table, pillager outposts, or in loot chests. ### Primary items Crossbow ### Secondary items No secondary items ### Incompatibility Converged shot is incompatible with: **Multishot**

Fumigating

### Effect Extends the reach of all tipped arrows to affect multiple entities at once, by acting like a splash potion upon hit rather than affect the victim entity only. ### Max level Fumigating I / No levels ### Acquisition This enchantment is exclusive to jungle temples, and is considered a treasure enchantment ### Primary items No primary items ### Secondary items Bow ### Incompatibility No incompatibilities

## Armor & Elytra enchantments

Adaptive protection

### Effect Serves as a general purpose protector from all damage kinds, but gradually adapts to a certain damage type when inflicted repeatedly upon the victim, at the cost of lowering protection against other damage types, and can surpass the protection provided by specifc damage type enchantments like blast protection if given enough time. __ It's worth noting that protection against other damage types when one is at it's climax is never zero__ ### Max level Adaptive protection IV ### Acquisition Can be obtained via an enchanting table, rare- but possible, through villager trades, on mob armor, on random equipment and in a book form in dungeons. ### Primary items Armor, Elytra ### Secondary items No secondary items. ### Incompatibility Adaptive protection is incompatible with: **Fire protection, Blast protection, Projectile protection, Protection, Devine protection**

Devine Protection

### Effect Provides extra protection against undead mobs. ### Max level Divine Protection IV ### Acquisition Enchanting, mob armor, dungeons, and on equipment. ### Primary items Armor, Elytra ### Secondary items No secondary options ### Incompatibility Divine Protection is incompatible with: **Fire Protection, Blast Protection, Projectile Protection, Protection, Adaptive Protection**

Cushion

### Effect Resists effects of kinetic damage, that includes flying into objects while using an Elytra, or throwing an ender pearl. ### Max level Cushion V ### Acquisition Enchanting, Exclusive to end city chests. ### Primary items Elytra ### Secondary items No secondary items ### Incompatibility Cushion is incompatible with: **Fortifying**

Fortifying

### Effect Provides armor to Elytras, Adds 1 Armor points and 0.2 Armor toughness points for the base level, Increases by 1, 0.2 respectively per level. ### Max level Fortifying V ### Acquisition Enchanting, Exclusive to end city chests. ### Primary items Elytra ### Secondary items No secondary items. ### Incompatibility Fortifying is incompatible with: **Cushion**

Thrusting

### Effect Thrusts the player gliding with an elytra forward and increases their speed every time they click the sprint button, with a cool down of 0.25 seconds, at the cost of experience per thrust. The strength of the thrust does not increase with the level but the cost of experience needed does. For: Level I, -35 experience points per thrust. Level II, -22 experience points per thrust. Level III, - 10 experience points per thrust. Anything above that is considered unobtainable, but if it were spawned in artificially, the experience points deducted would be -1. ### Max level Thrusting III ### Acquisition Exclusive to end city chests. ### Primary items No primary items, is a treasure enchantment ### Secondary items Elytra ### Incompatibility No incompatiblities, but this is subject to change and in the future might be incompatible with mending

Firm Stride

### Effect Increases the player's movement speed while using an item that slows them down, like blocking with a shield, loading a crossbow, or eating food. For it's base level increases the speed by 0.1, increasing 0.1 per each level above. Gluttonous

### Effect Makes eating food & drinking potions faster. [The way this enchantment works internally is set to change so no info on how that works will be provided as of now] ### Max level Gluttonous III ### Acquisition Enchanting, mobs, dungeon chests, villagers. ### Primary items Helmets ### Secondary items No secondary items ### Incompatibility No incompatibilities

Lithe

### Effect Increases the entity's ability to maneuver their way through obstacles, increasing their speed appropriately when trying to go through things like cobwebs, sweet berries, powdered snow, and honey blocks, as well as increasing their safe fall distance by 1 block per level. ### Max level Lithe II ### Acquisition Enchanting, mob equipment, villager trades, loot chests. ### Primary items Leggings ### Secondary items No secondary items ### Incompatibility No incompatibilities

Magma Walker

### Effect Spawns magma blocks beneath entities moving on lava, similar to Frost Walker. Although the magma blocks do not melt like ice does, and they permanently stay in their block form. Up Tread

## Tool enchantments

Distant touch

### Effect Increases the block interaction range by half a block per level, this only includes block interactions like breaking blocks, opening doors and such. ### Max level Distant Touch III ### Acquisition Enchanting, with mobs, chests, villager trades. ### Primary items All tools, Flint and steal. ### Secondary items Brush, Shears. ### Incompatibility No incompatibilities

Glimmering Geode

### Effect Multiplies the amount of experience dropped by blocks by 20% for base level, rises by 15% for each level above. ### Max level Glimmering Geode V ### Acquisition Enchanting, mob drops, chests, villager trades. ### Primary items Pickaxes, Hoes. ### Secondary items No secondary items ### Incompatibility Glimmering Geode is incompatible with: **Fortune, Molten Touch**

Molten Touch

Prospecting

Tilling

### Effect Hitting the ground tills a larger area of farmlands. ## Miscellaneous enchantments Includes: [ Shield, fishing rod, flint and steal]

Attrition

### Effect Held shields partially absorb damage in the form of durability damage, without needing to hold your shield up. The value of protection is calculated in the same way protection enchants are calculated and in the same stage, for base level, the shield provides ~4.8% which would be added to your protection percentages if present, increases by another ~4.8% per level. Durability absorbtion value is approximately determined by the halved value of the unfiltered damage taken before any reductions are done on it. So for example if a vindicator slapped you in the face with their iron axe and dealt 16 hearts, the durability reduced from the shield would be 8. ### Max level Attirition III ### Acquisition Enchanting but rare, loot chests, villager trades. ### Primary items Shield ### Secondary items No secondary items ### Incompatibility No incompatibilities

Undying

Fuse Spark

### Effect Decreases the fuse value (explosion timer) value for tnts when lit by 1 second per each level above. Hazardous

### Effect Sets entities on fire and deals slight fire damage on impact, as well as lighting the block they're standing on, on fire. Multihook

### Effect Increases the amount of rolls for each successful fishing catch by one per level. In more simple terms, it's as if you threw X amount of fishing bobbers in the same spot, catching them all together when a fish bites and thus increasing the amount of possible loot table rolls from catch. ### Max level Multihook II ### Acquisition Enchanting, chests, villager trades. ### Primary items Fishing rod ### Secondary items No secondary items ### Incompatibility No incompatibilities [Subject to change]

## Universal enchantments Enchantments which can be applied to basically anything which could be merged in an anvil.

Unfading

### Effect Prolongs the duration of the item's existance before despawning for 5 extra minutes per level. ### Max level Unfading III ### Acquisition Only through chests. ### Primary items No primary items, this is a treasure enchantment. ### Secondary items Anything anvil-able ### Incompatibility No incompatibilities

## Curse enchantments Curses, designed specifically to screw you over. Enjoy :D

Curse of Provocation

### Effect All entities around you are already aggressive towards you, zombified piglins, piglins, endermen, and golems. ### Max level Curse of Provocation I / No level ### Acquisition Villager trades, loot chests, common in mob spawner dungeon chests. ### Primary items No primary items, treasure/curse enchantment. ### Secondary items Armor ### Incompatibility No incompatibilties

Curse of Sterility

### Effect When applied on an item, that item no longer accepts enchantments aside from other curses. Essentially, you're locking this item to the current enchantments applied to it. ### Max level Curse of Sterility I / No levels ### Acquisition Villager traders, chests, more commonly found in mineshafts. ### Primary items No primary items ### Secondary items Anything acceptable in an anvil. ### Incompatibility When in a book form, no incompatibilties. Once applied on an item, incompatible with all non-curse enchants.

Curse of Whispering

### Effect Randomly plays sounds ranging from block placements, to mob ambients, to even foot steps. __Could escalate to something more sinister if applied for too long, which may or may not have a direct physical effect on the player__ ### Max level Curse of Whispering I / No levels ### Acquisition Villager trading, loot chests, most commonly found in strong holds and ocean ruins. ### Primary items No primary items ### Secondary items Helmets and headwear ### Incompatibility No incompatibilities

# Enchantment adjustments Some already existing enchants were adjusted to accept other kinds of items as mentioned above. for example, Elytras now accept all kinds of protection, shields accept thorns and knockback. Perhaps in the future more adjustments will be made, but those are all for now. # Important notes Enchantica is not considered even half way done. I still have a file full of ideas I haven't implemented yet due to my busy schedule, but we'll get there eventually. Nothing is truly final, especially parts that I specifically mentioned are subject to change. An enchantment could be renamed, repurposed, reimagined, or completely removed at any point of development. But I will try to always make you, dear player, aware of which enchantments are subject to change/edit.
