Ender Menace

Endermen in Minecraft are meant to be strange, rare, mysterious creatures. They're meant to be special mobs. But currently you can defeat one easily - with no armour and just a simple iron sword.

Even without decent gear you can simply build up a few blocks, or head into a gap too small for them to fit in, or a pool of water where they dare not go, or put down a boat for them to sit in and just get attacked.

There are more ways to kill an endermen without taking damage than there are for simple overworld mobs like spiders and zombies.

There is no challenge or strategy in fighting the endermen, who should really be at least a slightly challenging mid-game fight.

This pack fixes that.

Ender Menace gives endermen a few new special abilities to stop them being easy to kill with a simple bunker or tower of blocks.

• Endermen can now get out of boats, even if they aren't angry with players. No more sitting and waiting to be attacked!
• Endermen who are angry will sometimes poof players out of safe spots. No more hiding in small gaps or lakes of water, fighting without consequence. This "player teleport" ability can also be used to disorient you, encouraging players to be on their toes and thinking fast.
