This datapack adds 11 new enchantments to Minecraft, 4 of which are curses. You can get all of these enchantments and curses via loot chests, villager trading, and the enchantment table.
Enchantments
Autolooting (eme:autoloot)
- Applicable on:
SWORDS & TOOLS - MAX Level: 1
- Effect: Sends any loot dropped by mining, killing, etc. directly to your inventory.
- Limitations: Can only transport one type of item, how many of it does not matter.
Autosmelting (eme:smelting)
- Applicable on:
PICKAXES - MAX Level: 1
- Effect: Automatically smelts any ores you mine (iron, gold, & copper). Unlike other autosmelting datapacks, this enchantment works with the raw block variants (raw
<ore>block), and cobblestone (→ stone) and cobbled deepslate (→ deepslate).
Crash Protection (eme:crash_protection)
- Applicable on:
ARMOR - MAX Level: 1
- Effect: Grants you complete immunity to all fall damage.
- Added Bonus: If you're using an elytra and about to crash into a wall, simply just (quickly) look down and use at least one rocket. This will change your damage type to being fall damage instead of kinetic energy, and so you take no damage.
Explosion Protection (eme:explosion_protection)
- Applicable on:
ARMOR - MAX Level: 1
- Effect: Protects you from all explosion damage, but you can still get blasted/knockback by/from it. This is better than the vanilla Blast Resistance, which also causes you to get less knockback from any blast, meaning you can't use wind charges with it! Explosion protection fixes this, and you can still use wind charges and TNT launchers while taking no damage!
Lightning Protection (eme:lightning_protection)
- Applicable on:
ARMOR - MAX Level: 1
- Effect: Protects you from all lightning damage. It is unlikely to be struck by lightning, but this enchantment protects you anyway! Plus if you're on multiplayer, you might get struck by lightning more often by lightning rods or channeling tridents.
Pyrotection (eme:pyrotection)
- Applicable on:
ARMOR - MAX Level: 1
- Effect: Protects you from all fire damage, including lava! ... What, expecting more? It's just that simple, that's just it.
Master Loyalty (eme:master_loyalty)
- Applicable on:
TRIDENTS - MAX Level: 3
- Effect: Makes your trident fly back to you faster! Ever threw your trident far away and thought, "Man it's taking its sweet time to come back"? Well this enchantment fixes that by making it fly back faster!
- Limitations: Requires the Loyalty enchantment to function.
Curses
Curse of Complexity (eme:curse_of_complexity)
- Applicable on:
CROSSBOWS - MAX Level: 3
- Effect: Makes crossbows load even slower! Slap one of these bad bois on your friend's crossbow and beat them in any [cross]bow PVP! Or just to mess with them! You can pair this with other functions in your datapack (if you're making one) to make it actually useful, like charging up a more powerful shot!
Curse of Decay (eme:curse_of_decay)
- Applicable on:
ARMOR - MAX Level: 1
- Effect: Makes you take damage every second. Wearing any piece of armor with the Curse of Decay will make you take from 1 ~ 2 points of damage (0.5 ~ 1 hearts) every second! Even more powerful with more pieces, use this to ambush your friends or annoy them to death, literally!
Curse of Heaviness (eme:curse_of_heaviness)
- Applicable on:
TOOLS & WEAPONS - MAX Level: 3
- Effect: Makes you slower! Ever wore a netherite axe and go "hey, isn't it supposed to be super heavy"? Well guess what, cause' you can make them heavy now! Curse ANY* handheld item to make whoever holding it slower! They'll move slower, and jump lower (from the 2nd level forwards, they can't even jump 1 block high)!
Curse of Weakness(eme:curse_of_weakness)
- Applicable on:
ARMOR, TOOLS & WEAPONS - MAX Level: 1
- Effect: Makes the item more brittle! Every time it takes damage, theres a 25% chance it will take 24 times more damage! Oh this is PURE. EVIL! Make your friend's whole inventory break faster than they can comphrehend!
EME also has a bunch of tags for it to work, but you can use these with your datapack too!
