Expensive Boats

Boats allow you to travel vast distances on day one. This data pack allows you to answer a question you may not have asked: what happens if you can't sail off into the sunset?

The crafting recipe is the same as a normal boat, but with an added layer of wood, netherite ingot, wood underneath. This is implied to be the boat's ballast and keel (please imagine that the boat is not a dinghy).

I think this is more fun when used in combination with No Sprinting and No Sprint-Swimming, to make movement more intentional and distance more meaningful.
