Grimwart Version 31
This update adds new halloween themed items and mechanics. These new additions are mostly aimed at late game and pvp.
Duel-O-Lantern
-
Craftable from a Carved Pumpkin and an Iron Sword
-
When placed on the ground two players can place items inside the Duel-O-Lantern to engage in a magic duel
-
When the duel starts it creates a circular fighting area that is 25 blocks wide in radius. The duelists are granted increased mana regeneration and does not damage their wand.
-
The duel ends when:
- A player dies
- A player leaves the fighting area
- A player uses a physical attack (disqualifying them)
- After 3 minutes (which calls a draw)
- The winner of the duel wins the all the items that were bet at the start of the duel
- Dying in a duel does not cause any setback or loss of exp and teleports you back to where the duel started. So no reason to not go all out !
Karma
- Starting from Scholar I, opening trinket boxes and winning duels will grant you Karma. As a reminder you can keep track of your wizard rank by using
/trigger rank
- At 100 karma opening a trinket box will grant you a guaranteed Legendary trinket or one of the new Cursed Witchats and resets your karma to zero.
- Opening a trinket box grants 10 karma. Winning a duel grants 20 karma.
Battle Tickets
- They're earned through advancements and there is only a limited number of them that can be earned per player (so keep them preciously)
- Betting them in a duel will increase the karma earned by the winner by the number of tickets that has been bet by both players.
Cursed Witchhats
From left you right you have :
The Dimensional Witchcap, the Deathbound Witchcap and the Haunted Witchcap
- Can only earned via the karma system
- They all grant increased mana regeneration but they also each have an unique additionnal effect (that you will have to discover ingame)
