You can place any item you want inside your showcases with Showcases datapack.
You can also use shift-right-click to paint the glass of your showcases with any color you like.
Moreover, you can change the floor of your showcases to any type of slab you want using shift-right-click.
You can get a redstone signal from your showcases depending on whether there is an item inside or not.
If your item has a special name, it will be displayed at the top of the showcase. You can toggle the visibility of the text using a name tag. Additionally, by using a glass pane, you can make the text display limitless.
