Disclaimer:
This is not an official addon. I am in no way connected to the FAA team and this project is made separately from them. Any errors or problems with this project should be directed to myself and not the official FAA team/project/issue tracker. This project includes modified versions of FAA loot tables necessary for its functioning. I claim neither ownership nor original creation of these loot tables, nor of the minecraft assets used in the project icon.
To the FAA team/staff:
If you wish me to discontinue this project at any time or make any changes to the disclaimer, please ping me in the FAA discord server (@SakuraBabochka) and I will honour your wishes to the best of my ability. Such requests from non-FAA-team/staff members will be ignored.
Project Summary and Preamble:
FAA's fossils drop bones. At a glance, this seems reasonable. But these are the bones that we see dropped by modern (presumably recently deceased skeletons) in the overworld, and in chests alongside still-decomposing flesh. It therefore follows that these must be modern bones. So what are they doing in fossils from millions of years ago? The difference between fossilised bones and modern bones is, after all, rather large. The primary difference is that one is mineralised and the other not. Further elaboration would serve no useful purpose and would unduly extend this section. The purpose of this pack is to remove these modern, non-mineralised bones from FAA fossil ore drops (note that this does not include analyser drops, as these are not handled (as far as I have been able to determine) through data). That is all it does. There are no plans to add to its remit.
