Add natural camel spawns to the desert biome, backporting the equivalent 1.21.5 feature.

Developer Notes

To modify camel spawns further, please edit this file as you see fit.

This data pack will conflict with any data pack which also edits this asset.

Spoiler

This pack simply edits data/minecraft/worldgen/biome/desert.json to include camel spawns as seen in the official release v1.21.5 assets:

Another small note. My attempts to make a camel spawn at the generation of an abandoned (zombie) desert village, just like they do in regular desert villages, were unsuccessful. If you have found a way, I'd love to see the solution. I won't upload anything without permission and credit, of course.
