There's a number of blocks that seem like they should be immune to the destruction caused by the Ender Dragon, but aren't. This is here to fix that.
On top of the standard blocks that are already immune to the Ender Dragon, here's a list of the additional blocks with immunity:
- Iron Blocks
- Iron Doors & Iron Trapdoors
- Anvils, Cauldrons, & Hoppers
- Buttons
- Pressure Plates
- Banners
- Chains & Lanterns
- Diamond Blocks
- Ancient Debris & Netherite Blocks
- Lodestone
- Pointed Dripstone
- Chorus Plants & Chorus Flowers
- Conduits
- Sea Lanterns
- Prismarine & related blocks
- End Stone Bricks & related blocks
- Purpur Blocks & related blocks
- End Rods
- Ender Chests
- Enchanting Tables
- Shulker Boxes
- Spawners
- Beacons
- Dragon Eggs
- Dragon Heads
Some blocks were made immune not just because it would make sense, but rather for convenience, or for another gameplay-related reason.
-
Iron-type blocks are immune for parity with Iron Bars.
-
Pointed Dripstone is immune to make them reliably fall when the Ender Dragon destroys the block holding it (the same is partially relevant to Anvils as well).
-
Conduits, Sea Lanterns, and Prismarine are immune to follow the logic of Endermen being vulnerable to water.
