๐ Cobblemon Ride Speed Stabilizer
Ever flown or swam on a Cobblemon and watched your server choke because the chunks can't load fast enough? This datapack trims the top speed of the fastest rides so your server stays smooth, without making them feel bad to ride.
โจ What it changes
Only speedExpr (maximum speed) is reduced by roughly ~45%. Acceleration, handling, stamina, and jump are left untouched, so your Pokรฉmon still feel responsive and snappy, they just don't fly fast enough to destroy your TPS.

Rides whose speed is already at or below horse-tier are left alone, because their speed was reasonable to begin with:

- โ Server-friendly โ reduces lag spikes caused by fast flying/swimming rides loading chunks too quickly.
- โ Not brutal โ rides are still far faster than walking and flying/swimming still feels great.

๐ฆ How to install
- Download the datapack
.zip. - Place it in
saves/<yourworld>/datapacks/. - Join the world and run
/reload, or restart the world. - Done.

- Minecraft: 1.21.x (pack_format 15+, match it to your Cobblemon version)
- Required mod: Cobblemon
- Safe to stack with other Cobblemon datapacks that don't overwrite files in
data/cobblemon/ride_settings/.

Open any JSON in data/cobblemon/ride_settings/ and adjust the first two numbers inside speedExpr to taste. The values are blocks per second (max / min).
