Re-Selecting your origin
The ability to re-select your origin if you don't have one is built into origins by default. Alternatively re-joining the game with the empty/missing origin also re-opens the origins GUI

"Awaiting Server Response" Bug
This is the result of having origin caps on the client side. Unfortunately without it though you can attempt to select a capped origin. The result is that you get the empty origin instead which is not good because that essential makes you immortal

Data Pack Fix
When you have the empty origin this will display on your screen. Your constantly teleported in place to prevent you from moving. In addition you get slowness, weakness, and mining fatigue. This effectively neutralizes the ability to abuse the empty origin
