This datapack will add a simple mechanic to swords, which is a Parry!
Unlike shield, you don't have to hold right click to block. Instead, you have to time it correctly to negate any sources of damage. It will not damage your item while parrying, and it will not have a cooldown when it got hit by a heavy blow
Look on the Bottom to see how they work
How to use a Parry?
Right-Click with your swords, and it will perform a block or parry

Reminder: While having shield, or putting any items in your offhand will disabled the Parry option
Succeed Parry:

When Successfully parried an attack:
- Attacker will gain "Parried Debuff" (can't attack & parry, and slowed) for 1s
- If you parried a projectile, it can reflected where you facing at
- Set Cooldown depending how much damage it took
- Example:
Zombie dealt 4 damage to your parry, grabs that damage into tick as cooldown. so 4 ticks means 0.2s cooldown (1 tick = 0.05s). Higher Damage = Longer Cooldown
- Example:
Failed Parry

When Failed or Accidently used a parry:
- Gain "Failed Debuff" (can't attack and slowed) for 1s
- Set Cooldown for 3s + 0.1s if you keep failing
Thats all of the parry uses you can do. There's more of this stuff on Guide Option (in-game), you can check it out
There's also more that can upgrade or boost the parry, Which is an Enchantment

So, you don't like some of this cooldown and requirement? well you can actually change them.
Press "G" (or what keybind you set on quick act) to open the option dialog, and go to the settings (or call it config i guess)
v2.0 Soon. Everything will get reworked!
Update Progression will get delayed due to school stuff, but... i will tell you guys what will be changes like:
(Spoiler)
- Have you played "Block Tales" from Roblox, do you know the Superguard block right?, well thats what im gonna try to add. The Superguard will negate any source of damage, and counters the attacks. here's all the type of superguard when activated
- [Counter] - Melee Attack will reflect their damage back to opponent
it's now full damage
- [Deflect] - Arrows will deflect at any direction where you looking at
trident will not get deflected anymorenvm imma make all projectile be deflected
- [Counter] - Melee Attack will reflect their damage back to opponent
- Some weapons or mobs will ignore the superguard, instead it will blocked 75% of damage
- Also, you can hold the parry for 1s, but holding it too much will reduce the damage reduction and increase the cooldown on Success Parry
- failing to parry will now set the cooldown to 0.5s, so you can pretty much just hold the parry if you can, but im not recommend you to do that
