Re-Cobbalance
Re-Cobbalance is a datapack that balances a few recipes and blocks within the Cobblemon mod. It can be argued that these mostly just make the game more difficult, although I do personally find it more enjoyable this way.
If you don't want certain features, you can remove certain files from the datapack itself to get the behavior you want.
Healing Machine and PC Changes
Healing Machines found in villages are not the only Healing Machine subject to destruction; as now regular Healing Machines you craft will be destroyed when trying to pick it back up. Same rule applies to PCs as well. Here's why that is:
- Carrying around a Healing Machine, even with its charge function; generally feels awkward and eliminates the "sleep to heal" function.
- PCs feel awkward for a similar reason. This was mostly made with other mods in mind, such as Cobblemon Box Link. This adds slight progression to PCs.
Healing Machines will drop 1-4 iron ingots, while PCs will drop 0-2 copper ingots. Silk Touch will not help.
Pokéball Recipe Nerfs
Don't worry- regular Pokéballs, such as the azure or citrine balls; are not altered in any way. This section is mostly focused on changing the quantity of Pokéballs recieved from crafting more advanced Pokéballs. This is to enrich the use of more niche Pokéballs you may otherwise not use, and make you think more before throwing a ball. The crafted quantity changes are as follows:
- Great + Ancient: 4 -> 3
- Ultra + Ancient: 4 -> 2
- Fast: 4 -> 2
- Level: 4 -> 2
- Lure: 4 -> 2
- Heavy: 4 -> 3
- Love: 4 -> 2
- Luxury: 4 -> 3
- Friend: 4 -> 2
- Moon: 4 -> 3
- Park: 4 -> 3
- Net: 4 -> 2
- Dive: 4 -> 2
- Nest: 4 -> 3
- Repeat: 4 -> 3
- Timer: 4 -> 2
- Dusk: 4 -> 2
- Quick: 4 -> 1
- Dream: 4 -> 2
- Sport: 4 -> 3
- Wing: 4 -> 3
- Jet: 4 -> 2
- Leaden: 4 -> 3
- Gigaton: 4 -> 2
Any unlisted Pokéballs are unchanged. These values may change in the future once played around with more if I don't feel like they're just right.
Miscellaneous Changes
Adds drops to Pokémon in order to add a way to get otherwise unobtainable items in an environment without many hostile mobs. These are the drops:
- Alolan Cubone: 2.5% chance to drop a Wither Skull when killed in the Nether.
- Alolan Marowak: 5% chance to drop a Wither Skull when killed in the Nether.
- Duskull: 2.5% chance to drop a Wither Skull when killed in the Nether.
