About
- Starting from 1.10, there was a regression where Matcha Flavoured didn't check if a player who died was at 10 hearts. Therefore, from their perspective, it decreased their hearts to below 10.
- The players never knew this, because Klei never built the datapack to update their hearts to below 10. Then, when players got a Heart Container, it raised their hearts from the datapack's perspective;
- But since that value would have still been at or below 10, the player would just see that the Heart Containers disappear and they wouldn't gain the heart. And would say that it didn't work.
This is a drag and drop datapack to fix that.
Installing
Install the zip file into [your minecraft world folder]/datapacks/ folder. That's it.
You can know if it's active if your load/reload notice now includes a message about this datapack being loaded.
- If it doesn't appear, even though you have it in your datapacks folder, either (1) try enabling it via
/datapack enable [the pack] last, or disable it using/datapack disable [the pack]and reenabling it using/datapack enable [the pack] last - [the pack] would usually be
file/Matcha_Flavoured_Hearts_Fix.zipor something similar
