Renewable Ores & Minerals
Made by 8bitdino with 100% human trial & error :3
Description
This datapack adds Vanilla-style ways to craft ore blocks and various mineral blocks that otherwise wouldn't be renewable! All mineral recipes take inspiration from their real-world counterparts' chemical composition and/or method of formation :)
Being able to craft ore blocks from processed ingots also allows for Raw Copper, Raw Gold, and Raw Iron to be renewable!
This is designed to work with my Better Non-Renewables Collection!
Affected Blocks/Items
- Ancient Debris
- Calcite
- Cinnabar
- Stone and Deepslate Ores
- Coal
- Copper (and Raw Copper)
- Diamond
- Emerald
- Gold (and Raw Gold)
- Iron (and Raw Iron)
- Lapis Lazuli
- Redstone
- Gilded Blackstone
- Nether Gold Ore
- Nether Quartz Ore
- Netherrack
- Tuff
Recipes Added
Recipes are shown in the Gallery. Crafting table recipes are based off similar existing recipes in the game (like Diorite) and some recipes exist to make others renewable.
IMPORTANT
NONE of the ore blocks will result in crafting infinite materials. All ore block recipes take the max amount of materials the ore can drop when using a Fortune III pickaxe.
IF YOU HAVE ANY MODS OR DATAPACKS THAT ALLOW FOR FORTUNE LEVELS HIGHER THAN III, it will technically be possible to craft infinite ores.
More
I haven't figured out a good way to make modular datapacks, so don't be afraid to go into the file and delete any .json files in the [recipe] folder you don't want!
Please let me know if any bugs/issues arise by submitting a report through the dedicated Google Form!
