Reworked Witch Origin
A rework of the witch origin from Mob Origins by UltrusBot and an addon to Origins by Apace.
Cruel and cackling, Witches are masters of brewing, and are great with magic.
Version dependent on Mob Origins is highly recommended, although there is a standalone version that only depends on Origins. More information at the bottom.
Powers:
Pillager Aligned: Villagers don't like you, and Pillagers like you. (You cannot trade with villagers, iron golems will automatically attack you, illagers (including witches and ravagers) are passive towards you, killing villagers will drop emeralds*, and you can ride and control ravagers*)
Witch Home: You spawn at a witch hut.
Potion Mastery: Positive potion effects have their duration doubled for you.
Witch Arsenal: You have a small arsenal at your disposal (5 inventory spaces). Accessed with [Secondary]
Potion Throw: Every 10 seconds, you can throw a positive or negative potion, toggled with [Save Hotbar Activator] and thrown with [Load Hotbar Activator]
Pillaging Raider: While in raids, you gain a speed boost.
Potion Throwing: As a witch, you throw potions further.
Magical Body: As a witch, you take much less damage from magical sources.
Portable Brewing: You can brew potions by holding the ingredient in your offhand and the potion in your mainhand and pressing [Pick Block]. You can brew custom elite potions this way and all information related to elite potion brewing can be found in A Witch's Guide to Elite Potion Brewing.
Beneficial Potion: You can use potions to benefit yourself based on the situation every 30 seconds by pressing [Primary]. Fire resistance if on fire, water breathing in water, slow falling if falling, instant health when damaged, speed otherwise.
Call Raid: By sounding a certain type of goat horn and holding an ominous banner in your offhand, you can give yourself bad omen 5.
Illager Trading: You can trade with illagers and witches by right clicking them with various amounts of emeralds. You can't trade with them if you hit them though. All information regarding this mechanic can be found in Trading Information. Warning: if you right click on them after hitting them previously, your emeralds will be wasted.
Hero of the Raiders: After winning a raid, you get a hero effect that halves all costs of trades with illagers, and doubles the amount traded by witches. Nearby illagers will give you gifts. Lasts for 40 minutes. You are also immune to hero of the village.
Magic Combatant: Your body is not conditioned to handle hand-to-hand combat. Keep your distance from strong opponents! (you deal 15% less base damage)
Starting Gear: You start off with various potion brewing material, Trading Information, A Witch's Guide to Elite Potion Brewing, and 10 raw cod to tame the black cat at the witch hut.
Witchy Health: Learning the magical arts has granted you more health. (you have 2 extra hearts)
Witch Noises (hidden): You make witch noises occasionally. Disables when you're invisible or sneaking.
No Drops (hidden): Illagers are your friends, and as such do not drop anything when you kill them. Try trading with them instead.
Illager (hidden): You belong to the illager entity group.
Witch Particles (hidden): You constantly spawn witch particles. Disables when you're invisible or sneaking.
*Note: You cannot control the ravager, hitting villagers (but not killing them) will automatically make them drop emeralds regardless of who lands the killing blow, and iron golems will only target you while nearby villagers in the version not dependent on mob origins.
**Note #2: Splash potions can only be brewed from drinkable potions, and lingering potions can only be brewed from splash potions when using the portable brewing power. (eg. you cannot brew Splash Potion of Strength II from Splash Potion of Strength using glowstone)
