VER 1.5
on Aug 15, 2025Bug Fixes and QOL
Transcriber Rework
- You can no longer right/left click to store and retrieve exp from the transcriber
- Putting a transcriber on a pedestal or holding it in your offhand will attract nearby exp orbs, pulling the in and consuming them to store exp inside the transcriber
- A transcriber placed in a pedestal has a higher attraction range for experience orbs
- New item lore formatting
- Increased cost for rune application
- Transcriber lore updates dynamically to match stored exp
Bug Fixes
- Player was able to
refresh
their target word in the research table by taking the tablet out and inserting it back in, this was removed as a balancing change, the table now acts similar to that of an enchantment table, retaining your word until you finish the puzzle and claim your reward
Performance
- Removed unnecessary macros which greatly improves performance for the research table
- Reduced some macros in the pottery wheel which improves performance
Notes
- Will be out of town for a week or so, so updates will be on halt until i get back, in my absence, feel frree to suggest ideas for future updates in the discord!

BUGS
- All runes were in 16x18 pixel format
- Removed cube_all in all handheld models with a custom display option, it renders the exact same. the change was due to cube_all not 100% supporting custom uv maps for textures, so it was spamming errors
CHANGES & QOL
-
Adjusted ALL my loot tables to make pottery sherds appear in more, and making ancient tablet significantly rarer, along with being able to spawn in vanilla ocean ruins annd trail ruins
-
All placeable blocks such as the runic altar, and pottery wheel have been reworked (excluding runestone). These placeable blocks now use a blast furnace with custom container data as their base, this fixes 2 MAJOR issues A. Placing a block like a research workbench, (which used a loom as the base), right next to a loom while angling your cursor at a specific angle, could cause the normal loom to also turn into a research workbench. B. Placing blocks against a non solid block such as a fence or iron bars at a specific angle caused the block to error out and not placed, due to the raycast not finding the placed block, this is fixed
WARNING
DUE TO THE CHANGE ABOVE, BEFORE YOU UPDATE ANY WORLD THAT HAS THIS PACK IN IT, PLACE DOWN ALL PLACEABLE BLOCKS, OTHERWISE THEY WILL BE UNPLACEABLE AFTER THE UPDATE (you can destroy them after to get the updated items)
- Tweaked with runic altar gui slots, rather then have the rune / transcriber slot be inside the slot, its part of the gui itself, which means shift clicking items into the slot is now possible
THIS WILL BE EXCLUSIVE TO THE RUNIC ALTAR FOR NOW (pottery wheel and research workbench will receive the same / similar change in the future)
