SENSITIVE CRUCIFIX

This datapack introduces a new mechanic called Spiritual Charge. This charge will increase according to which mobs you get close to, foods you eat and the dimensions you enter.

CRAFT

The Crucifix is the main tool of this datapack, you can craft it by dropping two sticks, string and an iron nugget on the same spot. The Crucifix can be placed on walls, and will give the player Resistance II within a 5-block radius. The cross will turn upside down if it feels the presence of Spiritually charged mobs

List of Spiritually Charged Mobs

1. Undeads - undead animals, zombies, skeletons and variants
2. Witchcrafters
3. Ghostly creatures
4. Nether creatures (mostly)
5. Creepers
6. Endermans
7. Goats

When the player interact with those creatures it grows its spiritual charge. It also grows if you eat corrupted food.

List of corrupted food

1. Rotten Flesh
2. Raw Chicken
3. Poisonous potato
4. Suspicious Stew
5. Ominous bottles
6. Spider Eye

Obviously, going to the Nether will make you more spiritually tainted. Don't think its a good idea to use a crucifix there. Your prayers will never reach God there.

BAD SPIRITS INSIDE YOUR HOME

If you bring too much 'weight' to your home, bad spirits may appear. They will damage you, open doors, make strange noises and mess up your only quiet place. To identify spirits, you can use candles, that will be blown as the spirit is near. Each candle have a level of proximity. More candles = More precise position of the spirit. So. one candle will show that he is in the house, most of times.

Spirits can be quite annoying if you're inside a infested home, or a really small house. If you want a temporary protection from a spirit, you can use a throwable water bottle (splash water potion) to protect a small area from spirit interaction. For 30 seconds, spirits won't be able to approach you, blow most candles in that area and hurt you.

PRAYERS

And how do you make spirits go away? You pray! To pray, the crucifix must be 3 blocks up from the floor, and one block away from the player. When in right position, bow in front of it and wait until the prayer is complete. Prayers make mobs move away from your house for a bit, and clean your spiritual charge and sweep away bad spirits. You will hear a music if you start the prayer correctly.
