How to Use Showcase Maker
Showcase Maker lets you create guided tour spots using armor stands. You can link stands together into groups and let players teleport through them in order.
Setup and Installation
- Drop the datapack folder into your world's
datapacksfolder. - Run
/reloadin game. - Run
/function showcase_maker:loadif the scoreboards do not set up automatically.
How to Set Up Tour Spots
- Open chat and run
/trigger get_tools set 1to give yourself the setup tools and control book. - Place an armor stand where you want a tour stop to be.
- Hold the Group Setter tool and use the book or run
/trigger create_set set 1(change the number for Group 2 or Group 3) to assign that stand to a group. - Repeat this process for every spot you want in your tour sequence.
Controlling the Teleportation
- Open the Showcase Control book given by the setup trigger.
- Click on Tour Set 1, Tour Set 2, or Tour Set 3 to start teleporting through that group's stands.
- Every time you click a group button, it teleports you to the nearest unused stand in that set and offsets you slightly forward.
- Once you visit a stand, it marks it as used so you do not get stuck looping at the same spot.
Resetting and Utility Commands
If you reach the end of a tour or want to start over, you need to clear the temporary tags on the armor stands.
- Click Reset Stand Tags inside the control book, or run
/trigger reset_tags set 1directly in chat. This makes all stands available for teleportation again. - Click Get Setup Tools in the book or run
/trigger get_tools set 1if you lose your tools.
