Sincerelyuq's Overhaul
Sincerelyuq's Overhaul is a vanilla-friendly world generation datapack that completely transforms your exploration experience across all three dimensions. Instead of the same old boring landscapes, your journey through the Overworld, the Nether and the End will now be filled with mystery, unexpected discoveries and unique challenges.
The core idea of the project is to reward curious players. Many of the added locations are seamlessly integrated into the natural generation or hidden deep within the blocks, requiring you to dig deeper and explore more thoroughly. Some of them are built to look generous and are not — the pack rewards curiosity, but it also punishes greed.
Key Features
56 Unique Custom Structures — completely new, handcrafted locations scattered throughout the universe, nearly double the previous release.
Multi-Dimensional Overhaul — 45 structures in the Overworld, 4 in the Nether and 7 in the End, each balanced for the dimension it lives in.
Natural Wonders & Hidden Rooms — from amethyst pools embedded in the stone of Dripstone Caves to a trial chamber fragment buried whole in the rock, found only by digging.
Scenes, Not Just Chests — a cold camp with no loot at all, a nether portal missing its last two corners, a single chair facing a resin-covered clearing. A good number of these structures hold nothing and tell you something instead.
Traps and Fakes — a chest on a gold pedestal above a lava shaft, a geode full of silverfish, a well that looks exactly like the ordinary one. The best loot in the pack is behind the worst ideas.
Vanilla Style — everything is designed to feel like an official update, perfectly matching the classic Minecraft aesthetic. No custom blocks, no custom items, no resource pack required.
Version-Aware Generation — structures built from newer blocks are gated behind optional biome tags and pack overlays. On an older version they simply never spawn: no missing textures, no broken chunks, no errors.
What You'll Find
Overworld
Ruined wells, abandoned crop plots, a fenced apiary under a cherry canopy, a mushroom ring that would never grow on its own. Underground: an amethyst lake lined with budding clusters, a copper-eaten tuff boulder, a sculk-swallowed shelter in the Deep Dark with a shrieker on the ceiling. Underwater: a sunken rowboat, a gravel spit where archaeology works below the surface, a single sponge suspended in open water.
In the Badlands, hot springs cut into terracotta and run through with sulfur and cinnabar. In the Pale Garden, resin growths and a chair nobody is sitting in.
The Nether
A dried ghast nursery roofed with a three-rib bone arch, with enough water on the pedestal to revive one of them on the spot. A cargo trail strung out over the lava sea. A last camp in the ancient debris band, and a rescue site in the main cavern layer.
The End
Five variants of abandoned rail lines across the outer islands, a shulker trap, and a purpur vault with an obvious chest on top and a much better one underneath — wired to TNT.

Versions & Installation
Two builds cover everything from 1.19 up.
| Build | Versions | Structures |
|---|---|---|
| Main | 1.21 – 26.3 | 56 |
| Legacy | 1.19 – 1.20.6 | 35 |
Each build comes in two forms:
Data pack (.zip) — drag it into More → Data Packs when creating a world, or copy it into saves/<world>/datapacks.
Mod (.jar) — one file for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge. Drop it into mods and the pack is active in every world you create, with nothing to enable on the world creation screen. Fabric API is required on Fabric.
The legacy build is not a stripped relabel: every structure was converted down to the 1.19 data format, so banners keep their patterns and pillagers keep their crossbows.
Future Plans
This project is actively maintained and alive. Future updates will bring:
- Expanded support for newer Minecraft versions as they land.
- Even more unique structures, natural features and hidden puzzles.
- Surface features tied to the cave biome underneath them.
