Stable Villager Prices

Trade as often as you like: prices never go up.

In vanilla, every trade you make raises the demand for that offer, and the price climbs after each restock. This datapack keeps demand at zero, so villagers and wandering traders always ask the base price.

What stays vanilla

  • Trade limits (an offer still runs out and restocks at the workstation)
  • The discount for curing a zombie villager
  • Profession, level and experience

Install

Drop the zip into the datapacks folder of your world or server. It works on the server side only; players install nothing.

Settings

/scoreboard players set #enabled svp_cfg 0 brings vanilla prices back, 1 turns the stable prices on again.

Tested

Real servers on 26.1, 26.2 and 26.3, and the trading window of a real client on 26.3: with the pack a wheat offer shows 20 wheat, without it the same offer shows 32.
