⏳ Temporal Drift
🌀 What is Temporal Drift?
Temporal Drift is a lightweight Minecraft datapack that introduces random time skips to the world. Without warning, the day-night cycle will lurch forward, plunging the world into day or night—or anything in between.
You can’t plan. You can’t predict. You can only adapt.
🎮 Features
- Time skips forward unpredictably at random intervals
- Natural day-night rhythm is disrupted
- Works in both singleplayer and multiplayer
- Lightweight and conflict-free
🧪 How It Works
Behind the scenes, the datapack uses a timer and randomizer system that occasionally sets the world time forward by a random amount. This simulates “temporal instability,” affecting gameplay pacing, mob spawning, and light levels.
⚙️ Configuration
You can modify the randomness or skip intervals by editing the tick.mcfunction
file inside the datapack. Default settings are balanced for general survival gameplay.
🗺️ Compatibility

✅ Multiplayer compatible
❌ May conflict with other time-altering datapacks or mods
