The idea behind this datapack is to buff underperforming enchantments and make them more appealing (even if still not ideal), and make the enchantment level potencies more consistent across the board. All while remaining true to the vanilla Minecraft experience.
Armors
Protection(s)
- Specialized Protections (Fire, Blast, and Projectile) EPF are now the same as standard Protection, but they provide additional bonuses.
- Projectile Protection now also has a static 45% chance (per-piece) to reflect damage back to the attacker, similarly to Thorns except: it only works against projectiles, the damage scales not the chance

, and it doesn't further damage the armor. - Fire Protection now also has an 8% chance per-level to ignore all incoming fire damage each damage tick.
- Blast Protection now also has a 45% chance (per-piece) to apply Absorption for 5-10sec once every 30sec, the level of Absorption scales with the level of the triggering armor peice

. Allowing the wearer an opprotunity to avoid massive lethal damage (explosions) once every so often.
Feather Falling
- Fall damage reduction moved from EPF to attribute, meaning that the total effect is multiplicative with protection rather than additive. In simpler terms players will now require a total protection level of 16 and feather falling 4 to gain the full effect (81.28%), rather than using feather falling 4 and a total protection level of 8+ (80% reduction).
- Each enchantment level now also increases the distance players can fall before they start taking damage by +1.
Frost Walker
- Frosted Ice generated radius increased

Thorns
- Minimum thorns damage increased

. - Armor degradation per-proc reduced by 50%.
Soul Speed
- Movement speed bonus reworked to put more weight on higher enchantment levels

. This changes soul speed 1 to be more of a utility enchantment as its main effect is removing the speed penalty on soul sand, while allowing soul speed 3 to work at full capacity. - Armor degradation rate reduced by 75%.

- Bonus mining speed is now linear rather than exponential

- Sharpness is now linear, increasing its damage scaling at higher enchantment levels

Bane of Beasts (Bane of Arthropods)
- Bane of Arthropods has been renamed and re-tooled to "Bane of Beasts", which now applies the damage bonus to arthropods (spiders, silverfish, ect.), animals (pigs, cows, ect.), and monsterous animals (hoglins, ravagers, ect.).
- Damage bonus per-level increased

Smite
- Damage bonus per-level increased

Fire Aspect
- Now also deals +0.5 bonus damage per-level.
Knockback
- Now applies slowness 4 to damaged mobs and players for 2 seconds at enchantment level 1, and 3 seconds at enchantment level 2.
Impaling
- Damage bonus now also applies to any creature in water or rain, as per the Bedrock and Combat Test versions of this enchant.
Universal
Unbreaking
- Unbreaking now has a higher chance to negate damage on armors at all enchantment levels
20-to-30% -> 25-to-37%
