XP Merge

Combines nearby experience orbs into a single larger orb, so you can collect a big batch of XP instantly instead of walking through dozens of small orbs one at a time.

What It Does

Every tick, the pack scans for experience orbs sitting close together. When it finds a cluster, it adds up their total value, removes the small orbs, and spawns one orb in their place carrying the full combined amount — same total XP, just picked up in one motion instead of many.

Why Use It

• Faster collection — no more standing still while a dozen small orbs trickle in one by one.
• Less entity clutter — fewer orbs floating around after mob farms, grinders, or big fights.
• No gameplay changes — you still receive the exact same amount of XP; this only changes how it's delivered.

Requirements

• Minecraft: Java Edition 26.2
• Data pack format 107.1

Installation

1. Download the .zip file from the Versions tab.
2. Place it in your world's datapacks folder (or use /datapack create and add the included data folder).
3. Run /reload in-game, or restart your world/server.
