WunderLib: New Dawn
WunderLib: New Dawn is an independently maintained, unofficial continuation of WunderLib for modern Minecraft versions.
The project supports Fabric, Quilt, and NeoForge, depending on the selected Minecraft version. Check the Versions tab before downloading to make sure you choose the correct file for your mod loader.
What is WunderLib?
WunderLib is a shared utility library used by BetterX mods and other compatible projects.
It provides reusable systems and utilities for:
- automated configuration screens;
- grid-based user-interface layouts;
- configuration management;
- simplified networking;
- mathematical helpers;
- client and common utilities;
- shared functionality used by dependent mods.
WunderLib normally does not add standalone gameplay content.
Why download it?
Install WunderLib: New Dawn only when another mod or modpack lists it as a required dependency.
Make sure that the following all match:
- Minecraft version;
- mod loader;
- WunderLib version;
- versions of the mods that depend on it.
Depending on the mod using WunderLib, the library may be required on both the client and server.
Supported platforms
- NeoForge
- Fabric
- Quilt, through the Fabric-compatible edition
Platform availability may differ between Minecraft versions. Always check the loader information attached to the file before downloading.
New Dawn project goals
WunderLib: New Dawn aims to keep the behavior and APIs of the original project as accurate as reasonably possible while providing:
- continued maintenance of the Fabric edition;
- compatibility with Quilt through the Fabric edition;
- support for modern NeoForge versions;
- support for newer Minecraft releases;
- shared bug fixes;
- loader-specific compatibility changes;
- functionality required by the New Dawn mod ecosystem.
