You must install OptiFine

Mods like Oculus, Sodium, or other performance enhancers may conflict with OptiFine
Your Forge version must match the OptiFine version you're using
For Minecraft 1.20.1, use Forge 47.2.18 (link above within the name^)
Make sure “Advanced Coloring” is disabled in shader settings to avoid any visual issues with emissives.
