Alchemical Runes is a mod that transforms alchemy into a tool for survival, building, and defense. No complicated tables, spellbooks, or hour-long crafting chains. Just you, a piece of chalk, some dyes, and a few runes that can change the course of the game.
It all starts with a simple Chalk. Hold SHIFT, right-click on a solid block — and a rune appears on the ground. From there, everything depends on your choices. Use dyes or amethyst to change the rune's type, then activate it with an empty hand.
In the current version, three runes are available:
Fire Rune — ignites anything that steps on it. Perfect for traps, base defense, or territory control.
Transformation Rune — true alchemy in action. Drop a feather, egg, seed, and bone onto it — and it will summon a chicken.
Barrier Rune — creates an invisible force dome that repels mobs. The field lasts 20 seconds and demands a sacrifice: players inside the barrier lose hunger over time.
