Changes
Always Play 1.1.1
Changes:
- Renamed from "Music Delay Reducer" to "Always Play", reflecting the mod's growth beyond just reducing delays.
- License changed to CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 (Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike).
Fixes:
- Fixed the custom track "Now Playing" toast stacking up and becoming unreadable when switching tracks quickly. It now reuses a single toast with a quick blink transition, matching vanilla's behavior.
- Reduced unnecessary calls to the vanilla sound system while in Custom mode, lowering the chance of triggering a rare vanilla audio-engine crash related to switching your system's audio output device.
Known Issues:
- Switching your system's audio output device can still occasionally cause instability with vanilla music playback. This is a known weakness in Minecraft's own audio engine, worsened by certain audio-related mods (e.g. Sound Physics Remastered, RSLS). A more complete fix is still being investigated.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
