⚠️Disclaimer⚠️: Amos' mobs is still in its very early development.

You may encounter many bugs and holes until the first beta release, even tho I try my best to always release clean versions. The development can also be a bit slow since I'm a solo dev still in high school and learning java.

Amos' Mobs is a mod that aims to implement the community's ideas and concept art that was never implemented, as well as abandoned ideas, especially mobs that fit Minecraft's themes. In the final release, I expect the mod to have at least around 60 mobs, after that, I'll slow down on the mod and maintain it. (Don't get me wrong, the mod should still get new content and ported to newer version after the release.)

Content

  • The growler. A massive wolf-like creature living in snowy biomes: snowy plains, snowy taiga, snowy slopes, snowy beach, grove, ice spikes, frozen peaks. The Growler can be tamed with bones and will defend and obey its master. It's a pretty good pal for night or cave trip since hostile mob fear it, and is rideable through a saddle. When killed, it drops Growler fur, which is used to craft a growly jacket. ![Wild growler]Wild growler

  • Growly jacket Cold protection: powder snow, strays and polar bears deal 50% damage to the wearer (snowballs stay harmless) instead of full damage. Frost charge: every cold hit, even fully blocked ones, fills a blue bar from empty to full over 50 cold hits. Full bar: any attacker is frozen solid for 5 seconds, then the ice shatters. Each freeze drains the bar; at zero it starts charging again. The jacket possesses 4 tier of enchantment called "absorption" which increase its abilities. Growly jacket

  • The cackal A mix of a Jackal and a squirel, living in hot biomes, the cackal will beg you for food, there are two interactions about it, I'll let you discover it. Cackal

  • Warm coat Crafted with the cackal's fur, this coat protect you against fire related damages by absorbin half of them, when the coat is full, it'll release the heat by enflamming mobs hitting you. Warm coat
