Anvil Unlimited
Removes every anvil limit ā no cost cap, no incompatible enchantments, no level cap. If your experience bar can afford it, the anvil will let you do it.

Ever had the anvil throw "Too Expensive!" in your face right when you were one combine away from finishing your gear? Or wanted to slap Sharpness and Smite on the same sword and got told "no"? This mod exists specifically to say yes.
⨠Features
- šØ No more "Too Expensive!" ā the 40-level cost cap is gone. The anvil never refuses a combination for being "too expensive"; the only real limit is the XP in your bar.
- āļø Any enchantments, together ā Sharpness + Smite + Bane of Arthropods on one sword, all four protections stacked on one chestplate, Mending with Infinity. If it fits the item type, the anvil lets it through.
- š No enchantment level cap ā go past vanilla max levels. Sharpness X, XX, or higher ā your call.
- āļø Fully configurable
Nothing here is hardcoded. On first launch the mod generates config/unlimitedenchant.json, and you're free to dial things back instead of removing limits entirely:
Option What it does
- max_level Custom cost cap instead of "unlimited" (0 = no cap)
- max_enchant_level Custom level cap per enchantment (0 = no cap)
- allow_all_incompatible Turn off "allow everything" and use a specific compatibility list instead
- compatibility Your own list of enchantment pairs allowed together
Just edit the file and restart ā no extra tools required.
Server-side mod. Also works in singleplayer.
