ArborPuu
A fast but fancy way to chop down trees, the notch is carved into the log with block geometry, not a texture.
Once the trunk is through, everything above the cut comes down and drops through the normal loot tables, so Silk Touch and Fortune keep working (inf leaf glitch).
Supported woods:
- All Vanilla trees including nether
- About all Biomes We've Gone mod trees
- Total of about 74
Swings depend on the tree's size, not on your axe. This is the same system as "HT's TreeChop" (it's perfectly balanced tbh).
| Blocks | 1 | 3 | 5 | 10 | 20 | 50 | 100 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Swings | 1 | 3 | 4 | 7 | 12 | 19 | 25 |
Config can be changed via commands:
/arborpuu show every setting and its value
/arborpuu set <name> [value] change a setting; no value resets
...speed higher fells faster, multiply base settings
...durabilityPerChop axe damage per swing, 0 for free
...maxLogs most logs one felling can take
...maxLeaves most leaves one felling can take
...takeStrandedBranches branches hanging in the canopy come down too
...dropAtCut drops land at the cut, not where they grew
...showCrackOverlay vanilla cracks as well, for spotting bugs
/arborpuu sneak [mode] what sneaking does; Chop, don't Chop, always Chop
/arborpuu reset everything back to default
/arborpuu reload re-read the config file
/arborpuu help overview with explanations
About the name
Arbor is Latin for tree. Puu is Finnish for tree. So it's just "tree tree" in two languages, one cool sounding and one that sounds like a fart.
