Armor Stand PvP Tier Tagger

Armor Stand PvP Tier Tagger is an unofficial Fabric client mod that displays tiers.my Armor Stand PvP rankings beside player name tags and in the TAB list.

Installation

Install on the client with Fabric API for your Minecraft version. Replace the old Tier Badges jar and keep one release installed. Mod Menu is optional and provides the settings screen.

Behavior

  • Shows tier badges on armorstand.net and its regional subdomains.
  • Displays badges beside player name tags and in the TAB list.
  • Looks up individual player profiles when their name tags or TAB badges need data.
  • Caches each player independently for four hours, including missing players. A new player can be looked up while other profiles remain fresh.
  • Starts at most one lookup per second, with only one request in flight. Closing TAB or leaving a player's view discards unstarted lookups.
  • Refreshes expired profiles only while their badges need data. Joining a server or remaining idle does not start a refresh.
  • Reuses cached rankings across reconnects, regional transfers, settings changes, and Minecraft restarts.
  • Keeps the last known tiers during API outages. Failed requests pause all player lookups and retry with increasing delays.
  • Supports optional icons and left/right badge placement.

Player data comes from the tiers.my profile API. Tier changes can take up to four hours to appear while the API is healthy; cached tiers can be older during outages. Players shown in TAB can be looked up even if they are outside your world view.

Supported versions

  • Minecraft Java 1.21 through 1.21.11, including every released patch version.
  • Minecraft Java 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, 26.2, and 26.3.

Requirements

  • 1.21.x release: Java 21+ and Fabric Loader 0.18.1+.
  • 26.x release: Java 25+ and Fabric Loader 0.19.3+.
  • Fabric API matching your Minecraft version. Its own Fabric Loader requirements also apply.
