Details
Artery, named after the blood vessel artery, is a mod for Fabric that adds a new mechanism called sanguinity. It also adds several items and blocks centered around it. It's like blood magic (not the mod), but with other mobs' blood.
It's an interesting tech/magic mod (imo).
Note to Players
This mod is currently under development and might be unstable and buggy (though it works fine on its own when I'm testing). It might interact weirdly with other mods. If you plan on installing this mod, make sure to make backups of your world regularly.
Also note that this mod is kinda unbalanced and some balancing changes might be made here and there.

Features
Sanguinity
The most important resource in the mod. Players harvest sanguinity mainly through combat. Every 4 damage done will grant 1 sanguinity. If injured, every 4 sanguinity will restore 1 health. The conversion rates can be improved by equipments.
Sanguinity is also used to power several blocks provided by this mod.
Ores
This mod provides three types of ores:
- Erythrite, one of the "vital" materials used to make organ blocks;
- Leukium, a strong metal used to make weapons that harvest sanguinity more efficiently; and
- Thrombium, a durable metal used to make armors that make restoring health more cost-effective.
And I don't plan on adding more, because there are just too many types of ores in modded Minecraft.
Organ Blocks
Technology blocks in Artery are called organ blocks. Unlike machines, they don't require any wire to transfer sanguinity. Instead, they automatically form groups with their neighbors. Organ blocks in the same group share sanguinity and capacity.
Currently, there are four types of organ blocks:
- Atrium, which takes and stores sanguinity;
- Ventricle, which infuses materials;
- Fibroblaster, which restores durability of any item; and
- Pressor, which pressurizes certain items to release their powerful potentials.
Infusion
Flesh, another important material, is created through infusing rotten flesh. It can be used as a crafting ingredient or food. Eating it restores sanguinity, making it a strong choice of food paired with thrombium armors.
Pressurization
The totem of revival and several mob wands can be pressurized.
The totem of revival does nothing if not pressurized, but it behaves like the totem of undying if pressurized with enough sanguinity. When fully pressurized, it can prevent death up to six times.
Mob wands are used to summon mobs.

I haven't implemented anything. Infusion recipes doesn't show up but still can be checked in the in-game recipe book of Ventricle.
