Changes
1.3.0 - 2026-09-27
Added
- Added Sodium-compatible overlay rendering.
- The overlay now renders without making the ArtMap canvas/map disappear when Sodium is installed.
- Overlay placement can be fine-tuned from the QOL screen to reduce z-fighting.
- Added transparent-pixel support.
- Transparent
.oxspalette entries render as empty pixels in the in-world overlay. - The bundled palette recognizes Transparent as ID
1.
- Transparent
- Added a dedicated QOL configuration screen.
- Hotbar presets can automatically place the eyedropper, darken, lighten, and picked-color items into configurable hotbar slots.
- Tool slots use item icons and hover tooltips.
- Eyedropper popup persistence and eyedropper chat filtering can be toggled independently.
- Added an eyedropper pickup popup.
- ArtMap
Picked up Dye colourchat messages are parsed into an Artmatica overlay popup using bundled palette names. - Popup text turns green when the picked color matches the targeted color and red when it does not.
- Persistent eyedropper mode keeps the popup visible while the normal hovered-color HUD remains visible, then fades with it.
- ArtMap
- Added a MysticMC donation screen.
- Players can choose preset donation amounts, enter a custom amount, and include a message.
- Donations are submitted to the Artmatica donations API and shown in-game with player heads, realm labels, dates, and styled donation cards.
- Submission requires a second confirmation click and runs
/pay woodee <amount>on the player's behalf. - Before payment, Artmatica silently runs
/bal, checks that the player can afford the donation, and cancels with a red chat message if they cannot. - Successful donations show a green thank-you message.
- Added click-and-drag scrollbar support across custom Artmatica screens.
- Main config, color select, pattern select, tile select, pattern errors, and donations now support dragging the scrollbar thumb.
- Clicking the scrollbar track jumps the scroll position.
Changed
- Updated the main config screen layout.
- Pattern and tile selectors now share a row.
- Open Folder and Refresh sit directly below the pattern controls.
- All Colors, Clear Color, and QOL share a compact row.
- The preview is centered and placed higher in the panel.
- The Donations button appears only while connected to MysticMC and stays anchored near the bottom-right of the screen.
- Updated donation card styling.
- Donation entries have more vertical spacing.
- Realm display uses styled smallcaps for Arcane, Cosmic, and Elysium.
- Donation card borders now use realm-colored diagonal gradients.
- Updated color selection UI so transparent entries use a checkerboard swatch.
- Updated overlay depth tuning.
- The QOL slider supports very fine adjustment.
- The live tuning mode hides the config screen, allows camera/movement input, and uses the scroll wheel in
0.0001block increments.
- Updated the Artmatica generator palette to include Transparent and corrected Gunpowder D1 from ID
87to ID88.
Fixed
- Fixed transparent pixels being treated like normal colored overlay pixels.
- Fixed the eyedropper popup remaining green/red indefinitely in persistent mode.
- Fixed the live overlay-depth tuning screen getting stuck on Esc.
- Fixed donation realm detection for MysticMC and BlossomCraft chat banners, including smallcaps realm names.
- Fixed a donation-screen crash caused by scoreboard entries without display text.
- Fixed donation-screen player heads to render the face and hat layer instead of the full skin texture.
- Fixed donation message spacing, card spacing, date formatting, and realm wrapping.
Compatibility Notes
- Minecraft 26.1, Fabric Loader 0.19.3 or newer, Fabric API, and Java 25 are required.
- Artmatica remains client-side only.
- Sodium is supported.
- Iris/shader behavior may still depend on the active shader pack.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
