Explore Minecraft’s assets without leaving the game.
Asset Browser adds a Loaded Assets screen to your title screen and pause menu, letting you browse the resources loaded from your active resource packs. Built for resource pack creators, mod developers, and curious players, it brings file browsing, previews, and resource references directly into Minecraft.
Browse and find
Explore assets in a folder tree, search by text, and filter by resource pack or file type. Numbered texture variants are grouped together to keep large asset collections easier to navigate.
Preview in-game
- View textures and play their animations.
- Read formatted JSON and text files.
- Listen to
.oggaudio with a waveform and seek bar.
Follow resource references
Use the References and Used by panels to explore connections between assets. Follow a resource to the files it references, or investigate which other assets use it—helpful when working through models, textures, and resource pack structure.
Take files into your workflow
Copy an asset to your system clipboard as a file or reveal it in your file manager. For grouped numbered variants, copy the whole group at once.
Resize the browser’s panels to suit your workflow; your layout is remembered when you reopen the screen.
Client-side Fabric mod. No server installation required.
