0.5.0 — Your radio, fewer clicks
The station wheel has more room, clearer labels and short opening, selection and closing animations. Device and now-playing details no longer crowd the station names. Cancelling or selecting the current station still leaves it playing; reduced-effects preferences are respected.
Internet can now return to the device's last accepted live station without another search. Directory opens search separately. The fallback station is remembered for the current server address in your game profile. Joining a server or opening a menu never starts a station by itself, and choosing an already-playing source does not restart healthy playback.
Custom link lets you name and play a public MP3 or Ogg Vorbis stream from the wheel. The compact form suggests the codec from the address, with a manual choice when needed. Invalid or private addresses are rejected, and the current music keeps playing until a new source is accepted. Listener permission still applies; live radio is not a downloadable track or a seekable recording.
Use F7 to control a placed speaker you explicitly selected from up to 32 blocks away. It never silently picks the nearest speaker. Driving and carrying a speaker keep their usual priority, unloaded chunks are not forced to load, and a replacement block does not inherit the old selection.
Changing a selected speaker's Public/Private access refreshes nearby controls without requiring another click. Losing control rights disables the controls while preserving unapplied edits; it does not silence music for listeners. The server checks every change. Update both server and clients together for the immediate UI refresh.
The five stations and all 55 bundled tracks are unchanged. Separate Fabric downloads are provided for Minecraft 26.1.2, 26.2 and 26.3. Keep Custom music, saved listener permissions and world speaker links when updating.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
