AutoSprint
Never hold or double-tap the sprint key again.
AutoSprint automatically sprints for you whenever you're moving forward, walking, mining, or exploring. As soon as you stop moving, sneak, or start swimming, it steps out of the way so vanilla movement takes over — it only ever assists, it never overrides or interferes with normal sprint mechanics beyond triggering them for you.
Features
- Automatic forward sprinting — sprints while you have forward movement input, and stops when you're sneaking, swimming, or standing still.
- Client-only
/autosprintcommand — toggle the mod on or off at any time without touching a config file:/autosprintor/autosprint toggle— flip it on/off/autosprint on//autosprint off— set it explicitly/autosprint settings— jump straight to the settings screen
- On-screen toggle notification — a small HUD message confirms when AutoSprint is enabled or disabled, with a smooth fade in/out.
- Full Mod Menu integration — customize the notification to match your HUD:
- Enable/disable the notification entirely
- Keep it on screen persistently while enabled, or let it fade out
- Choose its screen position (top-left, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-right)
- Set text color/opacity and toggle italics
- Enable/disable a backdrop box, with adjustable color and opacity
- Toggle rounded corners and adjust the corner radius
All settings are saved to a config file and persist between sessions.
Requirements
- Fabric Loader
- Fabric API
- Minecraft 1.21.11
- Java 21+
- Mod Menu (optional, only needed for the in-game settings screen)
Notes
AutoSprint is entirely client-side — it doesn't need to be installed on the server, and it doesn't modify game mechanics beyond simulating the sprint key press, so it works the same way vanilla sprinting does.
