Client-side quality-of-life mod that automatically places a torch at your feet when it gets too dark. It is perfect for exploring caves, mines, and large dark structures where you want automatic lighting without the hassle of constantly placing torches manually.
Client-side only (no server installation required). Fully compatible with singleplayer.
Dependencies: Fabric & NeoForge require Architectury API. Forge requires no additional dependencies.
Free to use in any modpack — public or private, no permission needed.
What it does
- Light Check — automatically checks the light level at your position.
- Auto Placement — places a torch under you when the local light drops below your configured threshold.
- Inventory Pull — automatically pulls torches directly from your hotbar, offhand, or anywhere in your inventory.
- Support Check — prevents placement if there is no valid support block under your feet.
- Toggle Keybind — lets you toggle the feature on or off quickly using a custom keybind.
