BasicsMod Update: The Respawn Update!
This update introduces a powerful and highly requested feature: a fully configurable server respawn system! Server admins now have granular control over where players respawn after death. ✨ New Features
Custom Respawn System: A new respawnPoint option has been added to the main_config.json. Admins can now choose from several respawn behaviors.
New /respawnpoint Command: Admins can now change the server's respawn behavior on the fly without needing to restart or edit files.
Permission: basicsmod.respawnpoint.set (Defaults to OP level 2)
New Respawn Options:
vanilla:spawn (New Default!): Players will respawn at their set bed. If they have no bed, they will be teleported to the BasicsMod /spawn location.
vanilla: The mod will not interfere with respawning at all, letting Minecraft handle bed and world spawns.
spawn: All players will always respawn at the BasicsMod /spawn location, ignoring beds.
warp:<warp_name>: Force all players to respawn at a specific server warp.
pwarp:<pwarp_name>: Force all players to respawn at a specific player warp.
Coordinates: Force all players to respawn at specific coordinates (e.g., 100 64 -250 or ~ 80 ~).
🚀 Improvements
Command Autocomplete: The /respawnpoint and /tpall commands will now provide autocomplete suggestions for all valid locations, including vanilla, vanilla:spawn, spawn, all warps, and all pwarps!
This update gives you more power than ever to customize your server's gameplay experience. Enjoy!
