BeamPass mod
With this mod, the beacon beam will be able to pass through some blocks even if they are solid. This was born because I thought that having a lodestone compass pointing to a beacon would be useful and cool. So, now you can place a lodestone at the center of your base with a compass pointing to it and the Beacon Beam passing through it! You could still do it by place it under it I guess... well whatever here we are!
How to select which blocks will be bypassed
In you .minecraft directory you will find a directory called config. Within it there is a file called beampass_blocklist.json, and upon opening it you will find two lines: edit the second one adding the ids of the blocks you want to be bypassed, like the ones in the /setblock command, like: minecraft:stone
or minecraft:oak_log
. Keep it on the SAME LINE
Coming features: (don't really know when tho)
- Select bypassable blocks with a command
- GUI config
- Rework of the config
