NameProtect
NameProtect is a client-side Minecraft mod that changes your displayed name.
It's useful for avoiding stream sniping, protecting your identity, or hiding alt accounts.

Commands
All commands are client-side and do not require server support.
New Commands

/nameprotect mode <off|everyone|self>
Sets the protection mode:off
– disables name protectioneveryone
– replaces your name for all players including yourselfself
– replaces only your own view of your name

/nameprotect change <new name>
Changes your name to the specified value.
Legacy Commands (deprecated)

/nameprotect toggle <on|off>
Enables or disables name protection manually. -
/nameprotect change <name>
Old version of the change command.
Note: This mod only affects what you see client-side. Other players will still see your real username unless you use alt accounts or spoofers.
