Blockgame+ 2.1.0
The Rune Vault update - store, search, and sell your runes - plus a whole Cosmetic toolkit for glamour shots.
β¨ New
- Rune Vault - name a barrel "altar" in a sealed room (3+ bookshelves + a polished-blackstone-bricks block or chiseled stone brick block) to search your entire rune collection in one screen. Filter by name/rank/stat, pin the exact rolls you want, and drop a piece of gear in the Item slot for "best runes for this item". Locate a rune to the chest that holds it, Withdraw it into your inventory (even a single rune out of a bundle), and Deposit runes + rune-bundles back in. Open
/bgplus guideβΈ Rune Vault for the how-to. - Rune Shops - publish your vault and sell to other players. Name a "linked altar" barrel as your storefront; customers browse and reserve runes there (first-come, and reserved runes hide from everyone else so nobody fights over them). Manage your buy orders with
/bgplus shop orders- mark them Sold, Free a hold, or Block a time-waster. - Cosmetic tab - a new Settings tab of glamour-shot tools: Force Time (Golden Hour, Blue Hour, Midnight, and more), Freeze Time to hold the light still, and Force Weather (clear / rain / storm). All client-side render-only - your real time, weather, and gameplay are untouched.
- Sky Swap - render another dimension's sky over the one you're in:
/bgplus cosmetic sky <end|nether|overworld>maps the dimension you're standing in. Works without shaders, and with Iris one command -/bgplus cosmetic sky apply- bakes it into your shader pack so the shader renders that sky over your base (gorgeous with Solas + your End sky). - Biome Picker -
/bgplus cosmetic sky biome <biome>(with autocomplete) renders the whole world as any biome's colors - sky, fog, grass, foliage, water, ambience. Pink Cherry Grove skies over your base, eerie Soul Sand Valley fog, whatever you like.offto reset. - End Flash - ambient "heat lightning in The End": periodic distant sky flashes with a directional rumble, in the End sky (and any dimension you Sky-Swap to the End). Tune the volume / interval / intensity in the Cosmetic tab; it hides itself automatically while a shader pack is active. Adapted from Vykket's MIT-licensed End Flash.
π§ Improvements
- Multi-line forum posts - the new-thread body on the Community βΈ Forums tab is now a proper text box (like the feedback box), so you can write spaced-out adverts and longer posts instead of cramming everything onto one line.
- NPC Dialogue toggle - added a Settings switch to turn the custom NPC talk box on or off (sneak + right-click still reaches the vanilla menu).
π Fixes
- Inventory lock after menus - fixed your inventory becoming unclickable after opening the Character/Profile screen (and the Ranks, Quests, Shop, and Talents screens). No more closing and reopening to fix it.
- /compendium opened as a fake shop with dead "buy" buttons - it's read-only again.
- Map route line no longer flickers or hides behind the map where the terrain is discovered.
- Fixed "unknown command" spam when joining a single-player world.
- The hydration alert no longer fires in creative mode.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
