Blockgame+ 2.0.0
The biggest update yet - a whole new social layer, the Auction House, talking NPCs, and emotes.
β¨ New
- Auction House, reimagined - browse, search and sort listings with real item icons and live expiry countdowns, sell in a few clicks, and review your purchases, expired listings and full history. Hover any listing for its full stats.
- Talk to Origin City's NPCs - every profession trainer and their gear-vendor partner now has a real personality and branching conversations. Just right-click them.
- Body emotes - a bindable emote wheel played on your character in-world for everyone to see, plus a shared community emote library and your own animation editor. Open it with
/bgplus emote wheel. - Community hub - friends, private messages, and forums with image posts and reactions, all in
/bgplus social. - Chat media - post GIFs in chat and use custom
:name:image emotes the community has approved. - Custom Quests menu - Your Quests, history and details as a tab on your character sheet, with track and abandon.
- Ranks tab - the ranks shop now sits alongside Profile / Professions on the character-sheet tab bar.
π¬ Discord chat bridge
Bridge your community's Discord to in-game chat - messages flow both ways, with player heads on the Discord side. It's a bot you add yourself, no hosting required:
- Add the Blockgame+ bot to your Discord server, then a server admin runs
/setupin the channel you want bridged. - Players link their Minecraft account (
/linkin Discord, then/bgplus discord link <code>in game) so every bridged message shows a verified name - unlinked messages are gently nudged to link first. (takes a couple seconds to regester with discord due to rate limits) - One shared bot serves any community that invites it, so there's nothing to host or configure beyond
/setup.
Turn it on under Settings β Community in-game.
π§ Improvements
- Smarter gear Roll % - the tooltip verdict now weights the stats that actually matter for an item (profession stats on profession gear, combat stats on weapons) and shows built-in stat ranges right away.
- Time & weather widget, a configurable tooltip reveal key (no more accidental Ctrl+Shift keyboard-layout switches), and scrollable profile stats.
- Layered alert sounds and live-ticking buff timers on your profile.
- Clean screenshots - optionally hide Blockgame+ widgets while a menu is open. Settings - General.
π Fixes
- Chat-linked item tooltips now show their full stat panel inside custom menus.
- Our menus stay readable under resource packs that darken the screen.
- "Max" crafting keeps going until you actually run out, and the map route stops re-shuffling as you walk.
- F1 now hides our HUD and in-world waypoints for clean cinematics.
- routing should now only run once unless you come across another structure on your route.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
