Changelog
-
Added Scorchwood Wood Type
Black wood! This is very much intended as a counterpart to Pale Oak (to the point that the Door and Trapdoor share its design), opening up new options for cool monochrome builds.
The trees are unique in that they don't have leaves. You can obtain their saplings by baking any other kind of sapling in a Furnace.
-
Added the Scorched Forest
This forest used to be thick and lush, but a ravaging inferno has long since left it scarred and barren. There's nothing exclusive to this biome, but given the weirdness of obtaining Scorchwood Saplings, it serves as an easy way to collect a lot of wood fast.
-
Added Scorched Grass
This makes up the ground in the Scorched Forest, so it can be obtained en masse there. It's also renewable, as the growth of a Scorchwood Sapling will transform whatever block it's on into Scorched Grass.
-
Added Ashen Carpet
Again, this can be quickly gathered in high quantities by visiting the Scorched Forest, or obtained renewably by baking Moss or Pale Moss Carpet in a Furnace.
-
Added Pale Oak Bookshelf
-
Added Fallen Pale Oak Leaves
-
Added Advancements for entering the Scorched Forest and obtaining a Scorchwood Sapling
-
The Great Library Advancement now requires placing Scorchwood and Pale Oak Bookshelves
-
Added Pumpkin Pie to the Blocks for Builders tab in the Creative Menu
-
Updated Nether Brick textures to match the changes to Vanilla brick blocks
