--- ## Overview **Borrowed Echo** is a multiplayer-focused horror mod built around **voice, imitation, observation, and uncertainty**. Although designed with multiplayer in mind, **Borrowed Echo is fully playable alone in singleplayer as well**. Using **Simple Voice Chat**, something in your world begins to _**learn the voices**, **faces**, and **movements**_ of the people around you. It may watch from a **distance**. It may follow you in a **familiar shape**. It may call out using **words you've heard before**. And sometimes... > **Your friends will see it too.** Sometimes they'll only see **you running from nothing**. ---
