Optimization

• Client proximity scans run four times per second instead of ten; effect strength still updates each tick and interpolates between ticks.
• Creature disguises have independent render entities with a 128-entry LRU limit. Skin/disguise caches clear on world changes and disconnects.
• Xaero icon caching is bounded and stops repeated reflection attempts after a compatibility error, until the cache resets.
• Voice clip selection no longer builds a temporary candidate list.
• Distortion normalization is computed once per clip instead of once per sample; regression checks preserve the original audio output.

Visuals and animation

• Added a graded, pulsing edge vignette during a chase, with a steady version when flashing visuals are disabled.
• Smoothed proximity fade-out, camera motion, and the crucifix animation fade.
• Added breathing and offset arm motion to the revealed form.
• Gave each mimic an independent animation phase.
• Replaced constant abrupt disguise twitching with short, smoothly enveloped glitches.
• Corrected wide/slim model selection when render states are submitted.
• Death-jumpscare motion now respects screen-shake intensity, and a stale death effect clears if the player remains alive.
